Fukuoka, Japan Travel Guide

Located on the Southern-most tip of Japan, Fukuoka 福岡 is the birthplace of udon and tonkatsu ramen, brought over by monks studying buddhism in China. The city feels international like Tokyo, but with a chill seaside vibe.

Perfect home base for day-trips around Kyushu (Aso-Kuju NP, Itoshima, and Karatsu).

Ty Chef Ben of Telas&mico for allowing me to shoot a T+L Asia Reel!

Coffee/Cafe

Most Japanese cafes are not great for sitting/working for long periods, here’s two spots that I didn’t feel rushed to leave.

Prime Coffee

Medium Roast Iced Pour Over

Hokkaido Soft Serve

Iced Americano

Located on local shopping street
